Dress Code

At Calcot Park Golf Club, we recognise that fashion trends evolve quickly. Our current guideline is simple: all recognised golfing apparel is acceptable on the course and practice areas.

Gentlemen's shirts should preferably be tucked in, and matching socks of any style are permitted. Caps should be worn with the peak facing forward, and golf shorts must be tailored; cargo shorts are not currently considered appropriate golfing attire.

As a guideline, please note that any smart casual clothing, including denim, is acceptable in the clubhouse, although we do ask that caps are removed. Sandals and loafers (including flip flops and sliders) may be worn without socks during the summer (April to Sept).

Please ensure mobile phones are switched to silent or vibrate mode within the clubhouse. Phone calls, Zoom calls (or similar) are not permitted in the main bar. Phone calls can be made in the main entrance hall or outside the clubhouse.

For clarity, the following are not considered to be recognised golfing apparel

  • Football shirts, t-shirts, or tracksuits
  • Shirts with large or offensive slogans
  • Sports, beach, or cargo shorts
  • Denim, cargo or tracksuit trousers

We appreciate your cooperation in following this dress code to ensure everyone's enjoyment at Calcot Park Golf Club. If you are found not to be adhering to these guidelines, you may be asked to change into appropriate attire.
